01 Jun New Norman Stone Film: ‘The Final Fix’
Norman Stone appeared on the American Eric Metaxes Radio Show in January talking about his new documentary, ‘The Final Fix’, which explores the use of a radical treatment for drug users. This is a fascinating interview and he describes the film as the most unusual he has made and the most important. It is narrated by Ewan McGregor and can be seen on Amazon Prime, pay per view. The interview can be seen on Youtube by clicking here
The film follows five chronic drug abusers through a trial of N.E.T (Neuro Electric Therapy), a non-pharmaceutical treatment and claims that they came off addictions within a week with no withdrawal symptoms or future cravings. Norman had the idea of making this film in 1975 when he met the inventor of the treatment, Meg Patterson and had a chance meeting with Eric Clapton who was helped by the treatment.
